Amy Verner is a Paris-based writer and journalist. She has contributed to titles including Vogue Runway, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Self Service, Wallpaper* and The Globe & Mail. She has written and/or edited on an independent basis for companies including Chloé, Instagram, Alaïa, Jacquemus, Paco Rabanne, Chanel, Hermès and Coty.
Amy, along with Nick Remsen who is based in Miami, founded Verner Remsen in June 2020. Verner Remsen is a copywriting, communications and consulting system that develops personalized, value-defining writing for luxury and culture-driven industries in fashion, design, hospitality, art, architecture, real estate, travel and more.
Originally from Toronto, Amy was the fashion and lifestyle reporter for The Globe and Mail from 2007-2014. She studied media criticism at New York University, graduating summa cum laude, phi beta kappa. She is comfortable appearing on television and has moderated lifestyle and author panels. She has a strong foundation in art history and takes keen interest in French patrimoine.
